We welcome primary, secondary, and early tertiary aged musicians to try out with our fun and talented group. It is an opportunity to find out if they enjoy the music, the people and the atmosphere, and would like to join our band in the future!

Section Leads - Skilled musicians eager to lead and mentor their sections Intermediate Level - Experienced musicians looking to hone their skills or learn new instruments Beginners - Emerging musicians looking for a fun, supportive place to enjoy performing

Burnside Youth Concert Band is celebrating its 20th Anniversary with a spectacular concert showcasing the amazing talent of both current AND former members from across the past two decades! Come and see TWO bands challenge each other on stage!
Side by side, the Burnside Youth Concert Band will take on the West Torrens Concert Band to see who can perform the most exciting, interesting, and engaging of performances. Cheer loudest to support your side, as the band from the East takes on the band of the West.
Specials guests City of Burnside Mayor Anne Monceaux and City of West Torrens Mayor Michael Coxon will preside over the performances as completely and absolutely impartial judges to help us decide who gives the most captivating performances.
Both bands will come together after a tasty intermission to give your an amazing set performed by 70+ musicians! This is one performance not to be missed!

This school holiday workshop, sponsored by the City of Burnside council, is a day where you will meet new friends, learn fun music, and have tutoring by enthusiastic and engaging mentors. There will be a final, full band performance from 3:30pm-4pm for parents and friends to attend.
