Join our band for the day! This school holiday workshop, sponsored by the City of Burnside council, is a day where you will meet new friends, learn fun music, and have tutoring by enthusiastic and engaging mentors. There will be a final, full band performance from 3:30pm-4pm for parents and friends to attend.

Save the date! Our annual Cabaret is our biggest night of the year. Come and enjoy a selection of our recent repertoire in a relaxed Cabaret style concert where food, drinks and dancing are encouraged! Fun for the whole family.

6pm for 6.30pm start. Seated concert with a short interval at which we will be offering tea and coffee.

The Burnside Youth Concert Band is hosting a free open rehearsal night to kick of the year! We welcome primary, secondary, and early tertiary aged musicians to try out with our fun and talented group. It is an opportunity to find out if they enjoy the music, the people and the atmosphere, and would like to join our band in the future!

We are looking for;

Section Leads - Skilled musicians eager to lead and mentor their sections Intermediate Level - Experienced musicians looking to hone their skills or learn new instruments Beginners - Emerging musicians looking for a fun, supportive place to enjoy performing

An exciting night of entertaining music at the Burnside Ballroom! Burnside Youth Concert Band will showcase an array of music performed by their talented young musicians under the direction of our Musical Directors John White and Oliver Lacotta.

We will rehearse a selection of music for a small performance at the end of the day for parents.

An excellent opportunity for young musicians to experience performing in a large, youth focused concert band.

Instrumental tutors will support musicians during rehearsal, and provide guidance during sectionals.
